My hope for Portland Photo Tour is to provide a fun learning environment where people can discover the creativity inside themselves, explore beautiful Oregon and experience the passion, dedication, challenge and fulfillment that comes from creating an image you are proud of. 
 
This is something everyone can accomplish with a little guidance. You do not need tons of experience, training or expensive equipment. Very often people come to me frustrated with their cameras and discouraged. Learning photography can be overwhelming. I break it down for you in a way that is easy to understand. Just bring an open mind and you will see progress. Read the reviews!

My goal is to provide ongoing support for participants in their photographic journey with the Portland Photo Tour Forum, a closed Facebook group and community where photo tour participants can take part in monthly assignments, receive image feedback, ask questions, share tips, get inspired or just post photos for fun.

If you have never taken a photography class before, if you have taken other classes, but it just didn't seem to come together or if you are an experienced hobbyist who would like a review and a renewal of inspiration...this is the photographic instruction and community for you.
